Paul Shelton

Paul Shelton is a seasoned professional in the pharmacy industry with a career spanning over 15 years. At PharmaComplete, Paul leads efforts to assist pharmacies in growing their businesses, enhancing efficiency, and delivering differentiated solutions to patients and provider partners. With expertise in pharmacy organizational structure, workflow, and design, Paul specializes in operational evaluations, wholesaler RFPs, pharmacy startups, and transitions.

With a background in LTC pharmacy distribution, automation, and workflow, Paul has directly contributed to the growth of numerous pharmacies by tens of thousands of prescriptions per year and hundreds of thousands of bottom-line dollars. His experience at Parata Systems and McKesson Corporation provided him with valuable insights into pharmacy operations, compliance packaging, and innovative patient care solutions.

Driven by a passion for improving patient outcomes, Paul is committed to keeping patients in their homes longer, reducing hospitalizations, and enhancing their quality of life. He collaborates with comprehensive care teams to introduce new and innovative concepts in pharmacy services delivery.

In 2019, recognizing a gap in the market and the need for specialized support, Paul co-founded PharmaComplete to address the specific needs of pharmacies. A proud Virginia Tech alum and a U.S. Army veteran, Paul resides in central North Carolina with his wife Mara and their two sons, Ben and Reilly. Outside of work, he enjoys disc golf, trivia, and spending time outdoors.
